Symptom
You carry out a WBS scheduling. For this indicator "Adjust basic
dates" is activated. Operations of a network are assigned to different
WBS elements.
Earliest and latest dates of the operations then can differ heavily or the calculated basic dates of the WBS elements can be incorrect, if relationships in other WBS elements exist within a WBS element.

Reason and Prerequisites
The problem is caused by a program error.
Solution
Implement the program correction.
Note that for a scheduling with indicator "Adjust basic dates", the calculated dates of the WBS elements are considered as restrictions to the respective operations also when the indicator "Network scheduling" (Network determines dates) is activated. If you carry out a forward scheduling with alternative "Adjust basic dates", an end of the WBS element is calculated that acts as a restriction to the operations during the following backward scheduling.
Similarly, the connectivity for a backward scheduling and the calculated start date of the WBS element are valid.
The changes of the two related Notes 113062 and 130305 are cancelled by the change described in the "Corrections" section. By these two notes the calculated WBS dates are not to be interpreted as restriction if relationships between different WBS elements exist. However, this can cause inconsistent behavior for scheduling so that these corrections must be cancelled.
If, in your process of WBS scheduling in which the network determines dates, you do not want the WBS dates to be considered as restrictions, refer to related Note 155494. This can be treated as a preliminary development, since as of Release 4.6 the WBS dates are not considered as restrictions for a WBS scheduling with indicator "Network scheduling" any more. Hence, as of Release 4.6 the WBS scheduling of alternative "Network scheduling" acts similarly to a scheduling of the overall network.
